Overview

Utah only. The Utah Bureau of Emergency Medical Services issues the Course Coordinator endorsement after its own four-hour Course Coordinator course; Code Blue prepares candidates and does not issue the endorsement. This workshop walks through the Course Coordinator Manual: course requests and the 30-day deadline, class size and 1:6 skills ratios, hybrid and distance rules, clinical agreements, student records, quality review and audits. It also covers the co-coordinator of record placement and written recommendation the Bureau requires. The Bureau course and its $75 endorsement fee are separate and paid to the state.

What You Will Learn

  • Prepare a complete Utah course request before the 30-day deadline
  • Plan class size, instructor ratios and in-person skills hours for each format
  • Set up clinical and field agreements and student records
  • Run course quality review and prepare for a Bureau audit
  • Plan your co-coordinator of record placement and recommendation
