Sound Familiar?
Your employer needs a current card, your schedule needs a class that fits, and your patients need a rescuer whose hands still know the work.
An expired BLS or ACLS card can take you off the schedule. Finding the right course, in a format you can use, on a day you are off, eats hours you do not have.
You passed the megacode two years ago. Compressions, rhythm calls, running the team: when the next arrest drops in front of you, will the skills still be there?
Whether it is a parent at the ballpark or a medic in the rig, the first rescuer shapes what happens next. They deserve real practice, not a rushed checkoff.
We Understand
We have all sat through the renewal class where nobody watched your compressions. Our AHA courses run the other way: real time on the manikin, instructors who work as providers, and dedicated skills labs for each advanced course, with rooms for hospital and prehospital providers.
How It Works
Heartsaver for the workplace, BLS for every provider, ACLS and PALS for advanced teams, or an instructor course. Each tile shows length, price and the next date.
Full classroom, blended online plus skills, a skills-only session after the online portion, or a voice-assisted manikin session. Join a date at our training center or bring us to you.
Pass the skills test and any exam your course requires. Your AHA course completion eCard follows, good for two years. Bloodborne Pathogens has no skills test and ends in a one-year participation card.

Your Station or Ours
We bring instructors and training equipment to your station, hospital or academy, anywhere in the USA.
Best for Agencies and hospitals training a group on the same dates.
Finish the self-paced online portion first, then come to a hands-on session to practice and verify your skills.
Best for Providers who want less time in a classroom seat.
Open-enrollment dates at our own training center. Sign up on your own and train alongside providers from other agencies.
Best for Individual providers and small crews who need a seat, not a private class.
Run scenarios in hospital and prehospital rooms with manikins, virtual reality and advanced equipment.
Best for Crews who want more reps on high-risk, low-frequency skills.
The Stakes Are Real
A card that ran out last month can keep you off the schedule until a class opens up.
Crowded rooms and quick checkoffs mean nobody really watches your compressions or your team lead.
Booking Heartsaver when the job needs BLS, or a full class after you already did HeartCode, costs time and money.
Two years is a long time to go without your hands on a manikin.
Public dates at our training center and private classes at your station, ending in an AHA eCard your employer can verify.
Separate lab rooms for hospital teams and prehospital crews, so practice looks like your real workplace.
We help you match the course and format your employer asks for, from Heartsaver to ACLS, before you pay.
Book hourly time in our Simulation Labs whenever you want to run a skill again before the next card is due.
Questions
Two years, through the end of the month it was issued. Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens is the exception: it ends in a one-year participation card, because OSHA requires annual bloodborne pathogens training. Course completion cards come as eCards you claim by email, and your employer can verify them online.
Only the online part. Blended (hybrid) courses, HeartCode for BLS, ACLS and PALS and Heartsaver Online for workplace courses, start with an online portion you finish on your own time from anywhere, followed by a shorter hands-on skills practice and testing session. They end with the same AHA course completion card as a classroom course. We do not teach AHA courses over live video: every course that ends in a course completion card includes a hands-on skills test, with our instructor at your station or ours, or on a voice-assisted manikin.
VAM stands for voice-assisted manikin. After you finish HeartCode BLS or HeartCode ACLS online, you complete the hands-on skills test on an AHA-approved manikin that coaches and scores you by voice, with no instructor running the checkoff. BLS covers adult and infant skills. ACLS covers adult skills. You can repeat a skill until you meet the standard. Some employers also require an instructor-led ACLS megacode, so check with yours first.
Anyone who has finished the online portion of an AHA blended course, such as HeartCode BLS, ACLS or PALS, or Heartsaver CPR AED or First Aid online. Bring your online completion certificate, and book soon after you finish so the material is fresh.
Heartsaver CPR AED and Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED are the usual picks for workplace requirements. Heartsaver First Aid covers first aid alone. Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED is built for childcare and school staff. Bloodborne Pathogens is a one-hour course for anyone who may be exposed to blood at work. If your employer names a course, book that one.
Be at least 18 and hold a current AHA provider card in the course you want to teach. Find an AHA Training Center that is accepting instructor candidates and complete its instructor candidate application. Then complete the Instructor Essentials online course, attend the in-person session with Training Center Faculty, and be monitored teaching your first class within six months. ACLS and PALS instructors must also be licensed or certified in a healthcare occupation whose scope of practice covers those skills, and ASLS instructors must be advanced healthcare providers, such as paramedics or nurses. We run Heartsaver, BLS, ACLS and PALS instructor courses, and BLS Instructors can teach every Heartsaver course. ASLS instructor courses are coming soon.
Open a course, pick a session and select Reserve Seat. We hold your seat and email you the details. Contact us before the hold ends to pay by card over the phone or an agency purchase order. If no date works for you, request one.
Cancellation and reschedule terms depend on the course and are shown before you reserve. Contact us as early as you can and we will help you move to another date when seats are open.
