Overview

For EMT candidates who have failed the NREMT cognitive exam three times. NREMT allows six attempts with a 15-day wait between them, and requires remedial education before attempt four: the 20-hour EMT national component, a state-approved or CAPCE-accredited EMT refresher, or a state-approved program covering those hours. This live, instructor-led course works through the national component topics with practice questions and a plan for your next attempt. Ask us which approval it carries, and confirm NREMT will accept it for your record before you enroll. Remediation does not extend the two-year window from your course completion.
