Overview
A full day of coached station rotation: patient assessment (medical and trauma), airway and BVM, bleeding control, splinting, and cardiac arrest and AED. AEMT candidates also practice supraglottic airway, IV and IO access and medication administration. Bring the skill sheets your state or program uses. Educators coach at a ratio of one to six. EMR and EMT candidates still complete a state-approved skills competency. Licensure rules vary by state and level, and some states still require their own practical exam, so check with your state EMS office. The NREMT stopped its separate AEMT and Paramedic psychomotor exam after June 30, 2024. This day is practice and does not replace any official exam or verification.
What You Will Practice
- Run each station to your skill sheet, including the critical criteria
- Get coached corrections on patient assessment flow and verbalization
- Practice airway, bleeding control, immobilization and cardiac arrest skills under time limits
- AEMT day: practice supraglottic airway, vascular access and medication administration on task trainers
Who It Is For
EMT and AEMT candidates, students in current courses, candidates retaking a skills exam and providers moving states by reciprocity who want to sharpen skills before practical exams.
Prerequisites
- Enrolled in or completed an EMT or AEMT course, or holding an out-of-state EMS license seeking reciprocity

Questions About This Session
No. It is practice. EMR and EMT skills competency is verified by your course or the state, and the NREMT no longer gives a separate AEMT psychomotor exam.
The AEMT day adds supraglottic airway, vascular access and medication stations and costs more for the extra supplies and staff.
Open a lab session and select Book Lab Time, or Reserve Spot for a scheduled lab, then pay on our secure payment page by card or bank account (ACH). Paying online adds a processing fee, and you see the exact total before you pay. Your time is confirmed as soon as the payment goes through. Lab time is paid online. For a scheduled lab you can also reserve your spot, then contact us to pay by card over the phone or an agency purchase order. If no time works for you, request one.
Cancellation and reschedule terms depend on the session type and are shown before you reserve. Contact us as early as you can and we will help you move to another open time.
