Overview
For workplace safety trainers who want to teach Heartsaver courses only. Get accepted by an AHA Training Center, complete Heartsaver Instructor Essentials Online and Core, attend this hands-on classroom session with Training Center Faculty, then be monitored teaching your first Heartsaver course within six months. Clinicians who also want to teach BLS should take the BLS Instructor course, which covers Heartsaver too. The Instructor Essentials online course (AHA 25-1650) and the instructor manual are bought separately.

Who Should Attend
Adults 18 or older with a current Heartsaver or BLS provider card; no healthcare license required.

Questions About This Course
After the classroom session you must be monitored teaching your first course within six months. Your instructor eCard is issued after a successful monitoring, and it is valid for two years. Renewal requires teaching at least four courses in those two years.
Open a course, pick a session and select Reserve Seat, then pay on our secure payment page by card or bank account (ACH). Paying online adds a processing fee, and you see the exact total before you pay. Your seat is confirmed as soon as the payment goes through. To pay by card over the phone or an agency purchase order instead, reserve your seat, then contact us. If no date works for you, request one.
Cancellation and reschedule terms depend on the course and are shown before you reserve. Contact us as early as you can and we will help you move to another date when seats are open.
