Overview

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support builds on BLS with systematic assessment, airway management, rhythm recognition, defibrillation, cardioversion, pacing, ACLS pharmacology, post-arrest care and high-performance team dynamics under the 2025 AHA Guidelines. The classroom course runs over two days with required video prework and a precourse self-assessment; the one-day Update course is for providers with a current card. Blended learning pairs HeartCode ACLS online with a hands-on skills and megacode session. Finished HeartCode already? Book a skills-only session. Or take HeartCode ACLS online and test adult skills on a voice-assisted manikin. Instructor-led options include a megacode test, and classroom courses add the written exam. The ACLS Provider eCard is valid for two years.
