Overview
Two hours of facilitated megacode practice for four to six learners on ALS-capable manikins with a simulated monitor and defibrillator and CPR feedback. Everyone takes turns as team leader, with a short debrief after each case. ACLS groups run cardiac arrest, bradycardia, tachycardia and post-arrest cases. PALS groups run pediatric cardiac, respiratory and shock cases. Built for providers heading into ACLS or PALS, blended learners before their hands-on skills session, and new grads. This is not an AHA course. It does not replace the AHA skills session or issue an AHA course completion card.
What You Will Practice
- Lead a resuscitation team through current ACLS or PALS algorithms on a manikin
- Recognize rhythms on a simulated monitor and choose the next intervention
- Assign roles and use closed-loop communication under time pressure
- Debrief each case and fix sequencing errors before graded testing
Who It Is For
Providers taking ACLS or PALS (initial or renewal), blended learners before their skills session, new-grad RNs and paramedic students.
Prerequisites
- Current BLS
- Enrolled in or holding ACLS or PALS
- Bring your ACLS or PALS reference cards

No. Megacode prep is practice only. It is not an AHA course and does not replace your AHA skills session. Book ACLS or PALS through our AHA courses for a course completion card.

Open a lab session and select Book Lab Time, or Reserve Spot for a scheduled lab, then pay on our secure payment page by card or bank account (ACH). Paying online adds a processing fee, and you see the exact total before you pay. Your time is confirmed as soon as the payment goes through. Lab time is paid online. For a scheduled lab you can also reserve your spot, then contact us to pay by card over the phone or an agency purchase order. If no time works for you, request one.
Cancellation and reschedule terms depend on the session type and are shown before you reserve. Contact us as early as you can and we will help you move to another open time.
