Overview

Exclusive use of our hospital-style sim room at our training center: patient bed, headwall, monitor, code cart and a high-fidelity manikin with live vital signs that respond to your treatment. A Code Blue sim operations tech runs the manikin and the monitor for the whole booking, so your group can focus on the patient. You bring the instructor and the cases, or ask us to suggest a scenario set. Good for unit in-service, new-grad practice and residency or student groups. One booking holds the whole room for up to six people.

What You Will Practice

  • Run in-hospital resuscitation and deterioration cases on a responsive high-fidelity manikin
  • Practice team roles, closed-loop communication and handoffs in a realistic room
  • Use your own scenarios, checklists and debrief format with a tech running the simulator

Who It Is For

Nurse educators, hospital units, ED, ICU and labor and delivery teams, residency and student groups, and prehospital educators who want a hospital-style setting.

Prerequisites

  • A group lead who runs the session content (instructor, educator or charge nurse)
  • Up to 6 participants per booking

Questions About This Session

No. Our tech operates the manikin and monitor. Your instructor runs the cases and the debrief. If you want us to facilitate, book an agency simulation block instead.

Six is the most the room handles well. For larger groups, request an agency simulation block and we will rotate people through.

Open a lab session and select Book Lab Time, or Reserve Spot for a scheduled lab, then pay on our secure payment page by card or bank account (ACH). Paying online adds a processing fee, and you see the exact total before you pay. Your time is confirmed as soon as the payment goes through. Lab time is paid online. For a scheduled lab you can also reserve your spot, then contact us to pay by card over the phone or an agency purchase order. If no time works for you, request one.

Cancellation and reschedule terms depend on the session type and are shown before you reserve. Contact us as early as you can and we will help you move to another open time.
