Not toward the approved review course requirement. When you recertify FP-C or CCP-C by continuing education, IBSC requires 16 of your hours to come from a course on its approved review list. Our IBSC Approved Review Course application is pending, and until IBSC lists us this course does not meet that requirement. Check with IBSC before counting any of our hours toward recertification.
No. You apply for the FP-C or CCP-C exam and pay IBSC directly. IBSC lists the fee at $285 for affiliate members and $385 for non-members on its 2026 fee schedule. IBSC charges the same amount to recertify. IBSC sets eligibility and testing options, and we do not administer or score IBSC exams.
Take the initial course for a first attempt at the exam. Take this refresher if you already hold FP-C or CCP-C and want a faster pass through the outline before a retest.
Open a course, pick a session and select Reserve Seat, then pay on our secure payment page by card or bank account (ACH). Paying online adds a processing fee, and you see the exact total before you pay. Your seat is confirmed as soon as the payment goes through. To pay by card over the phone or an agency purchase order instead, reserve your seat, then contact us. If no date works for you, request one.
Cancellation and reschedule terms depend on the course and are shown before you reserve. Contact us as early as you can and we will help you move to another date when seats are open.
